The Opportunity

We're hiring a Forestry GIS & Client Solutions Specialist to support users of Phoenix Connect with onboarding, training, and technical guidance-particularly around spatial data and BC government submission workflows (FTA, RESULTS, ESF). This is a dynamic, client-facing role that combines technical expertise, problem-solving, and relationship-building. You'll also contribute to the ongoing improvement of our software by testing features, collecting feedback, and identifying opportunities for enhancement.

In this role, you will:

• Provide expert support on GIS mapping, spatial data workflows, and government submissions using Phoenix Connect
• Work directly with clients across BC and beyond to train, implement, and optimize use of our platform
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide responsive support
• Contribute to testing new features and documenting best practices
• Identify opportunities for product improvement and communicate client feedback to the development team
• Represent Phoenix Connect at industry events and conferences
• Build lasting relationships with users and promote positive client experiences

What you bring:

• 2-5 years of operational experience in the forestry, GIS, or natural resource software industry
• Hands-on experience with GIS tools, particularly ArcGIS Online, and familiarity with BC Ministry of Forests submission tools (FTA, RESULTS, ESF)
• Strong understanding of forest operations workflows and data management
• A passion for solving problems, helping others, and improving systems
• Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and presentation
• Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• A degree or diploma in Forestry, GIS, Natural Resource Management, or related field
• Experience with SaaS platforms, QA testing, or client onboarding is an asset
