This privacy statement applies to the data collection form(s) used by D.R. Systems Inc. ("DRS") for LinkedIn Lead Generation. It describes the information that DRS may collect, use, share, and store.

Collection of Personal and Business Information

As defined in British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), Personal Information means information about an identifiable individual, but does not include contact information; Contact information is information that would enable an individual to be contacted at a place of business, and includes name, position name or title, business telephone number, business address, business email or business fax number.

The Linked In Lead Generation Form collects business contact information including name, business email address, company name, and job title.

The collection of this data is necessary to fulfill the following purposes:

  • Retargeting and tailored advertising across LinkedIn and other digital platforms
  • Sales outreach and follow-up communication related to DRS products and services

Consent

By using DRS's LinkedIn Lead Generation Form, you are consenting to the collection and use of the information as described in this privacy statement.

Use and disclosure of Information

DRS uses the collected information to fulfill the internal marketing needs of the company. We may transfer this information to trusted service providers (such as CRM platforms, advertising platforms, and analytics providers) solely for the purposes of campaign management, retargeting, lead tracking, and performance reporting. These service providers are contractually obligated to protect the information. DRS will not sell the collected information to other parties.

Retention of Information

DRS Retains the collected information as long as necessary to fulfill our marketing needs. We may need to retain certain information for longer periods, for reasons such as record-keeping / reporting in accordance with applicable law, enforcement of legal rights, fraud prevention, etc. Residual anonymous information and aggregate information, neither of which identifies you (directly or indirectly), may be stored indefinitely.

Ensuring Accuracy of, Access to, and Deletion of Information

Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to access, update, or erase your personal data, ask us to share your personal information with another party, withdraw the consent you provided for us to process your data, or other rights. Securing Information

We are committed to ensuring the security of customer information in order to protect it from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or similar risks.

DRS maintains an information security management system which implements many measures and controls to ensure that customer information is appropriately protected, including:

  • Access controls (user, password, and encryption management)
  • Network controls (segregation, ACLs, firewalls)
  • Supplier management controls

DRS continually reviews and updates its security policies and controls as technology changes to ensure ongoing information security.

Questions and Complaints

The DRS Privacy Officer is responsible for ensuring DRS' compliance with this policy and the Personal Information Protection Act.

Application users should direct any complaints, concerns or questions regarding DRS' compliance in writing to the Privacy Officer. If the Privacy Officer is unable to resolve the concern, the customer may also write to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of British Columbia.
